"Creating Business Agility by Adopting Non-Deterministic Management"
Natty Gur, founder of Galaxies A new non-deterministic management system
Information and Registration
Business Agility is the ability of an organization to renew itself, adapt, change quickly, and succeed in a rapidly changing, ambiguous, turbulent environment. Agility is not incompatible with stability—quite the contrary. Agility requires stability for most companies. (Aaron De Smet)
When describing agility we are describing a living organism or natural phenomena. We are referring to systems that are a collection of parts that interact one with each other to reach purpose. But instead of using non-linear and non-deterministic approaches used by science to understand, explain, learn and often even improve systems we are using linear, deterministic and analytic approaches.
Non-deterministic science and tools such as chaos theory, complex systems, and system thinking have a tremendous contribution to our life. without them, we wouldn’t enjoy lasers, semiconductors, and remote controls. Non-deterministic approaches define and explain how living organisms are evolving, adapting, changing quickly, and succeed in a rapidly changing, ambiguous, turbulent environment. Understanding and implementing non-deterministic approaches into organization management and organization system is the only way to make a change that will make your organization agile.
In this session, Natty Gur will explore the different non-deterministic approaches and tools and how any company can adopt them to create an agile organization, as agile as the systems we see in natur |
